Paris Yamek
MD, MPH
Dr. Yamek is a Middle Tennessean at heart, born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee. She went away for college, receiving her bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, then attended medical school at East Tennessee State University. She completed her residency at the University of Louisville. She has also received special training in completion of advocacy track and has done global health work in West Africa. Her professional interests lie in social determinants of health, school readiness, community advocacy, and global health. When she’s not taking care of her patients, she loves dancing, traveling, reading, listening to live music, exploring local parks, restaurants, and ice cream shops, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying all things Baylor sports.
